About
My name is William DeLong and I am currently a sophomore studying Chemical Engineering at Tufts University and earned a full IB diploma from George C. Marshall High School. I completed IB Chemistry 1 my sophomore year and IB Chemistry HL II my junior year. I tutor students, from 10th through 12th grade. I received the highest possible 5 on my IB Chemistry HL II exam in May 2017 and finished the year in the top of my class, only to receive a 6 in May 2018.
I have extensive knowledge of both the material of IB Chemistry as well as specific tips and tricks for the IB exam. I have used my knowledge in practical applications and have performed multiple laboratory experiments: Determining the molar mass of butane, Various titration labs, and winning 2nd place for a personal science fair project: The Effect of an Induced Current on Dissolved Nitrate in Water.
My teachers have had PhD's in chemistry and more than 30 years experience with IB. I subsequently started my own tutoring company and have spent 10s of hours with multiple clients throughout high school level chemistry.
