Welcome to Tutoring with Torey, where personalized learning meets enthusiasm! Based in Brookline, MA, I specialize in offering tutoring services in science, social sciences, and accounting.
I have a very unique educational and professional background. I was a social sciences (Government) major and ultimately pursued a Master's of Accounting. I worked for seven years as a CPA with Deloitte, gaining deep experience in complex, real-world accounting scenarios that complemented my educational background.
However, I recently decided to pursue a career change to become a physician. I completed a one-year premedical program for career changers, in which I took biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physiology, biochemistry, and physics. This program sparked my passion and love for the sciences. In particular, I love breaking down complex biology, chemistry, and organic chemistry concepts!
As a dedicated and passionate educator, my mission is to inspire confidence and excitement in my students. I have approximately one year of tutoring experience in accounting and science.
