Ashley Cunningham

I am a highly skilled middle school science teacher who has taught 5-8 science for the past 12 years. I am an expert in all areas of middle school science content: earth, space, life and physical sciences. In addition to teaching, I have also led a team of 10 science teachers as a curriculum designer and instructional coach. My favorite part of teaching science is encouraging kids' curiosity and helping them make connections between what we're learning and real world problems. By helping kids understand how science impacts our biggest world issues, they can feel more empowered to be the change makers we need.
