Social Studies And Political Science Tutoring
About
I am thoroughly passionate about all adjacent topics to Political Science and International Relations, and I have experience in tutoring both areas in several countries to a diverse array of students from unique walks of life and national origins.
I have a very genuine enthusiasm for these subjects, and teaching/coaching is something I also genuinely enjoy.
I obtained a Bachelor of Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014 and a Master of International Relations from the University of Melbourne in 2018. I received recognition for academic excellence for both degrees, and in between the two, I accrued valuable experience in political consulting and constituent service for elected officials, getting to know firsthand how American government really works.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am at my best in one-on-one instruction when I develop a rapport by obtaining a detailed understanding of what topics or ideas the student is most passionate about and how those affect the way in which the student conceptualizes the world.
I find that first asking them questions about themselves and where they see their own place in relation to abstract concepts or current affairs is very helpful. I can extrapolate and better understand their general thought process, so as to more effectively frame and tailor my teaching and coaching methods.
It is also of course a good in itself for the student to feel comfortable expressing themselves and their thoughts, yet still maintain professionality. This balance is an essential life skill in my opinion.
