About

Since 2010, we've had wonderful results in the form of stellar scores and tremendously appreciative feedback from our clients, as well as numerous and regular referrals and recommendations. About 95% of our “advertising” is by word of mouth and we often work with students who are siblings, usually over several years. Former students have attended or currently attend excellent colleges: Harvard, Tufts, MIT, Brown, Georgetown, and Johns Hopkins, to name a few. And now you can share the gift of learning - please do pass our information to your family and friends wherever they might be in the world - we're offering all our classes online now!

My tutor Talha has worked with me since preparing for SATs in high school and now taking the GMAT 6 years later. Even after coming back after such a long time, Talha instantly rememered me and knew how to help me achieve my best. Throughout studying, Talha would check in on my progress. He genuinely cares about his students success and I will certainly go back to him if I ever need test prep again!

Frequently asked questions

Research is now proving it just takes around 20+ hours to learn (and be good at) a brand new skill - given the right tools and guidance - we’re here to help you however we can on that learning adventure! We have a very simple process: 1. We provide a free initial consultation. Give us a call or send us an email to schedule a session with one of our highly experienced personal tutors - this can be done online or in-person. We totally understand how important a good match is for everyone involved. 2. Choose your package. Do you want to go pre-pay, session-by-session, your call. 3. Book your dates. You and your tutor can figure out what dates work best for everyone. 4. Show up to your sessions with your thinking cap on, ready to learn some cool new stuff! 5. Practice, practice, practice! :)

Our tutors have made it their full-time careers to help students excel in their academic careers. Tutors on our team each have over 10 years of one-on-one and classroom experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds. Our tutors have over 10,000 instruction hours each making them experts in the field of education. This is all in addition to their own graduate and post-graduate adventures. We talking commitment. We are continuously training our tutors and sharing best practices to improve the calibre of the entire tutoring team. Curriculums keep changing, as do standardized tests, and we’re always excited about the new tools and technology that keeps popping up. Everyone on our team keeps their eyes out for cool new stuff and new ways to learn, so they can pass them on to their students.

Our founder Talha's story: My mother was a teacher (is now a Principal) and I took after her. I started teaching, found a tremendous affinity for it and loved teaching students new things. Plus, I like learning things myself and this was a great way to keep doing that, and have managed to do that for the last 15 years. I have since found other talented educators who share the same passion about developing a new way to learn that is relevant in the 21st century, and beyond. It is the dedication of my colleagues and the steady stream of happy students and their families that help create a strong sense of community and bring joy to me every day.

We typically work with families over the course of a number of years, helping students with whatever challenges they might face in their academic career, be it Algebra, ELA, AP Physics or the SAT/ACTs. We've worked with people of all ages, at all stages of their academic careers. We help students with S.T.E.M. protocols for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through elementary/middle/high school, applying to college and later grad school (Calculus, Stats, Financial management, Java script programming, GMAT, GRE).

One of our recent students, Grace, scored a 1490 on her SATs! Fabulous score! She saw a 90 point increase, and most importantly: the sessions were 100% all online! We can send the good study vibes through the interwebs too now! Go technology!

Rapport is supremely important - find a tutor that's a great fit for your kid. If your kid can actually enjoy the sessions - you've already won half the battle!

Studying for a big test or exam can be daunting for many students - and sometimes even their families. We encourage you to be as honest as you can about your current situation, and that's when we can provide you the best results. What are your strengths, weaknesses, learning styles, hobbies and interests. Ask yourself how commited you are to the learning process, how much time would you like to dedicate to this endeavor, how much time do you realistically have, what are your timelines, what scores are you shooting for, which schools are you applying to the list could you on and on. Also then ask lots of questions of your tutor: how, what, when, where, even why - that should be your learning mindset.
