Owen Moreau, Computer Science Tutor
About
Are you passionate about technology, but you are struggling in AP Computer Science or college-level computer science classes? Don't let the initial stress of learning programming push you away from the very interesting (and profitable!) field of work. Hi, my name is Owen Moreau and I am here to ensure you learn programming!
I am currently a sophomore in Computer Science at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts. In high school, I was the only student in my home town to take AP Computer Science (I had to take the class online during my senior year).
By building my own simple way to understand and write code, I was able to score a 5 on the APCS exam. After a few tutoring sessions with me teaching you these simple methods, you will already be feeling more confident about the upcoming test or classwork.
Computer science may seem extremely foreign to those new to it. Let me show how easy it actually is. What are you waiting for? Contact me today. I offer great rates and I also have a flexible schedule.
Thank you!
Owen Moreau
I succeed when my students succeed. It was a privilege being able to have a great tutor when I took AP Computer Science in high school and began college at an accelerated pace after scoring a 5 on the AP exam. I paid it forward when I could by tutoring those at Wentworth Institute of Technology who were falling behind.
Now, when tutoring students, I try to emulate the same friendliness and willingness to cooperate that my previous tutors and teachers have had to me. That is one part I enjoy.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every time I meet a new student, I start off by getting a feel for their goals. I want to understand what motivates them and why that individual chose to take Computer Science. From there I will better know how to motivate them.
I offer my personal number to all of my students so that they can reach out at any time. The pace and intensity of tutoring depends on the AP test date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
During my senior year of high school, I was the only student to take AP Computer Science in the district. After scoring a 5, I got accepted to Wentworth Institute of Technology and started my course track at an accelerated rate. I received an A in Computer Science II, Data Science, and Discrete Mathematics - all core computer science classes.
