Hey!

I’m Lolli, a progressive, trusted and expert coach and professional songwriter from London.

I specialise in vocal pedagogy applicable to Pop, Rock, Jazz, Country and Musical Theatre (contemporary vocals). I am also a highly experienced Music Theory and Piano teacher. Particularly for students who wish to learn how to play beautiful chords and arrange their own piano part for their original songs or to a cover.

I graduated London’s Institute of Contemporary Music Performance with a BMus (Hons) in Vocal Performance and I use the Estil Method in my teaching practices. I know all the science behind how your voice works and I can fix any vocal issue for example straining, dryness, tone, cracking and the break, and limited range. An example of what we may work on in vocal sessions include:

* Breath technique and control (including sustaining notes)

* Expanding vocal range

*’Mix voice’ and the passaggio

* Unlocking belt and whistle register

* Enhancing natural vocal tone

* Vocal health, maintenance and sustainability

* Performance ability and confidence

* Improvisational skills (riffs, scatting etc)

* Harmonisation skills

* Spoken word (voice projection, accents, clarity of voice, intonation etc)

For Theory and Piano Classes, we can work on (just an example):

* Reading music (Classical notation and chord charts)

* Preparing for graded exams

* Learning to play by ear

* Intervals

* The circle of fifths (and everything in-between)

* Inversions

* Modes

* Jazzy chords

* Rhythm

* Piano Technique and how to play with flare

I also teach for RockSchool, ABRSM and Trinity Exams: Grades 1-8 with a 100% pass rate (woohoo!)
