About
I have been a piano teacher/tutor for the past 5 years, and have worked with students of varying abilities and ages. My aims are always to give my students the tools so that they can look at any classical score and play the music intelligently.
I have been a classical pianist myself for 17 years, recently studying at Boston University with Prof. Pavel Nersessian. I have awards at many state, regional and national level competitions, and have performed in venues such as New York's Merkin Hall, Carnegie Hall, and Boston's Symphony Hall.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will always speak to you first and together we can discuss your goals, your experience with the piano, etc. I will then assess your current ability level and assign a piece from the classical repertoire that I think is appropriate. From then on, we will work together closely, and I will always make sure that I am explaining myself clearly and that you understand the concepts that I am teaching.
