About
I love to share the language and culture I grew up with. I also love to compare, contrast, and find the similarities between French, France, and the language and culture of my students.
Besides the lowering of my students' affective filters, what I value most when teaching a language, is accuracy. If you have a thought in English and you want to convey it in French, It is always preferable that you be able to do it accurately, right? Likewise, If you hear or read something in French, we need to make sure that you understand every possible meaning, as well as the most plausible one for the context it's in. I will help you with that... and with anything else you would like to know in French.
France is where I'm from. I was born in Paris and grew up in the 94 (Val de Marne) until I was 21. Then, I moved to Boston. I am completely bilingual, and as confortable in France as the US.
I hold a bachelor in psychology and a master's degree in education from UMass Boston. I also have a MTEL. I have been teaching French in Massachusetts public schools for over a decade.
Voilà! A plus!
