    Frequently asked questions

There are three main steps that are adressed with a new student.

First, to determine the type of help desired.

It is important to determine whether the help would be with homework and studying (mostly written expression and vocabulary) or with speech, or both.

    Second, Emmersion.

To effectively learn a language it is imparative to surround yourself with the language. I have the best recomendations for french television shows, books, movies, and articles tailored to the type of improvement you desire. (This is how I learned!)

    Third, Creating Routines

Maintaining a written journal (to be corrected) is a great way to keep the brain thinking through your target language. The process of remembering an event to then describe it in your target language aids to solidify both new vocabulary and one's own confidence as you see your personal progression towards your goal. This type of work is something that works in the background of any specific topic we may be currently focusing on.

In my senior year of high school, I volunteered as a Teachers Assistant for my French teacher In a formal classroom setting.

I answered questions, and provided in-depth explanations of translations in both French and English.

I was basically a walking translator for the class, the undisputed vocabulary resource!
