Hi everyone! I’m Leo. I have been teaching Chinese for more than 30 years. I can speak English fluently. Since I have had students from French and German speaking countries, I also gradually learned some French and German.
My classroom atmosphere is lively and the teaching method is rigorous and innovative. I always inspire students to motivative to speak, dare to speak, and lay a solid foundation for the future development of oral Chinese. I am very dedicated about teaching. My class language is lively, the method is clear. My examples are challenging and appropriate. The requirements of the students are demanding, which encourages active participation from the class and thereby making the learning environment more exciting and interactive.
The way I teach is very fit for every student's learning style. My teaching is based on the characteristics of the knowledge structure of this course, with prominent points and clear levels. I combine theory with practice, and make concepts more digestable through examples. I am both enthusiastic and strict in class. I take time to understand every students' learning habits and their life outside of school.
I am excellent at teaching Chinese courses for all age groups, my students ages range from 6 to 65 years old. During these years, I have helped many students to successfully pass HSK, HSKK, YCT exams, I also help many students apply for Chinese universities successfully, or find a job in China.
In addition to teaching, I often supplement the students studies with traditional culture, history, etc., so that students not only memorize and deduct textbooks by rote, but learn and use them in real life.
