Hi! I’m Ms. Sam and I have been teaching for over a decade. I am Montessori certified (AMS), have a M. Ed with a focus in Montessori Education, and have taught in four different countries! I have taught prek-6th grade, and worked academically with students from 6th grade through high school. I love making learning fun, often coming up with songs/rhymes/sayings that keep my students learning and laughing. I strive to be fair, honest, compassionate, and understanding with all my students. I am always an advocate for them, and prioritize the needs of each student. I truly believe I can learn from my students, as they learn from me. I love teaching all subjects, and I bring a little something different to each one. I come up with tips and tricks to help with reading, math facts, and math processes. I lived in a Spanish speaking country for three years, and am fluent in Spanish. I have little “pocket secrets” for writing and value the importance of conferencing during the writing process. And finally, my background in theater gives history lessons a little flair. Come learn and laugh with me!
