My forte is the realm of college application essays ~ Utilizing my Brown English degree, I started my own writing consulting business in Ipswich, MA, about 11 years ago which has grown into full college consulting. Along the way, I have become a self-made and proven expert in the college admissions process, navigating the Common App, and college interviewing for high school seniors. Additionally, I advise on waitlists and transfer applications. I have personally attended the campus tour and talk of over 35 of this nation’s top schools. Over the years, I have self-studied countless webinars and the best college essay books, and worked with former admission officers turned consultants as mentors, assimilating the information so you don't have to. I love to help students and their parents conquer this all-consuming adventure! I also specialize in graduate-level personal statements for master's programs, med school, nursing, PT, and law school, and contract with an international education company. I typically work with 125 students per application season, and was recognized by Wyzant as a Top 1.6% Tutor in the College Consulting field in 2019. At Brown University, I became an independent, free thinker with a degree in English, with particular emphasis in writing seminars. I can help any student from middle school to college write a top-notch personal statement, fictional piece, persuasive argument or research paper, and I have many client recommendations to back that up.
