Welcome, welcome, welcome! My tutoring will be challenging- you will do a LOT of writing and reading but it will also be fun, interactive and interesting. We will work on whatever help you need from Language Arts, to research papers, to fiction. From 8th garde- College Composition.
I have been a writing teacher in one form or another for over 20 years. I have taught Middle School Language Arts- College composition. I I have done coursework in the in Literacy (the teaching of reading and writing) in the doctoral program in Literacy and Education the University of New Hampshire.
I love teaching, reading AND writing and am really looking forward to tutorning.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First meeting and greeting and the student. Then looking at what we need to focus on- what the outcome shoud be then divising a goal list and working through the goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have done doctoral coursework and comprehensive exams in Teacing Reading and Writing at the University of New Hampshire. I have an MA in English from Northeastern an a BA in English from UNH.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$40 an hour but flexible depending on the situation.
How did you get started teaching?
I fell in love with it in my MA program in English. I was amazed by how much I fell in love with it.

I have worked with students who have dyslexia, middle school Language Arts and History, high school English, College level Creative Writing and college composition
