About
I graduated from Wheaton College in 2022 with my bachelor’s in elementary education and psychology. I have my MA license in elementary, grades 1-6, and general science, grades 5-8!
In high school and college, I worked as a tutor for 5 years, working with students from ages 7-14. I can tutor in all for general subjects but my favorite to teach are math and science!
I have worked in a 4th grade classroom for my student teaching and was a long term sub in a 7th grade science classroom last year. I’m currently a paraprofessional working with students on the autism spectrum and I am working towards having my own permanent classroom!
I love teaching and watching students succeed! My goal is to help students find a love for learning and see their full potential in anything they do. I enjoy getting to know my students to learn both their personal and academic goals, which will help me find the best practices to aid in their success. I am organized and feel that I plan well thought out lesson plans that are individualized for every student I work with. I also always welcome any feedback to help me improve my teaching!
