Experienced tutor, extremely patient, and practical, with over 10+ years experience. Able to explain abstract concepts so that they are memorable and fun. I have always enjoyed tutoring and especially the joy of "when the light comes on". I am an experienced engineer and if I had not become and engneer I would have become a teacher. Also I am excellent with languages and speak French well.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, I will reach out to the student and ask where the student is facing difficulties. Normally, there are a few different areas, and I will develop a plan forward. This will either be by instruction specific, or by providing a number of examples and methods the student can take and use. Continuously I follow up with the student to ensure understanding.
