I have 5 years experience teaching (3rd-5th) math and ELA in public schools in New Orleans, Louisiana. I am a former collegiate athlete who has found purpose in helping the youth build character and achieve goals. My goal as a tutor is not only to teach content, but to help the student take responsibility for his/her future.
If hired, our sessions, will include character development and self-belief. The habits and structure I provide will help the student take responsibility.
Teaching is about trust and building relationships. With extra support and incremental success, students are far more likely to believe in themselves. I intend to achieve the goals we set, and in addition, help your child become more independent and responsible.
