What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin by getting a sense of what the student's strengths and weaknesses are by doing some diagnostic exercises to determine where to focus our sessions. I also find it helpful to hear feedback from the teacher, parents, and student about how they learn best and what challenges they may be experiencing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While attending Columbia University, I tutored first graders in remedial reading and did one on one English and Spanish language tutoring while doing a semester abroad in Spain. I am passionate about education and love working with students to bring them up to speed!

I charge $30/hr for online tutoring services and $45 for in-person sessions.
