About
I have a passion for writing that’s been in my blood as long as I can remember in my academic life. Ever since I could talk and write I’ve had a profound love for literature and all it entails. There’s a significant beauty to how we write and how feel when we write and that emotional connection is what fuels my love for the subject of writing and the English Language. I also enjoy poetry and how our deepest feelings and emotions come out and are transcribed on to parchment through paper and pen.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Firstly, I’d like to learn what the student is focused on and is having trouble with. I like to find out their problems to guarantee a more promising solution to this problem that we i as the tutor can really dissect what the student is having trouble in for the course and solve it in a timely manner that’s both comfortable and affordable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken numerous educational courses through out college and have been a teacher on numerous occasions. Tutoring and teaching is common in my life through academics and I enjoy it.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I’d have to say tutoring is no easy task and in that I say my skills would cost about 15-20 dollars per hour respectively.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I got into education academics during my time at the university of New Orleans. I ended up teaching numerous classes, the majority being English Language Arts classes, and I had time to connect with each student in each classes within their strengths and weaknesses in learning.
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with lots of middle school students. Middle school students are in the night of their academic careers just before high school it’s where their brains are hungry for knowledge the most.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event I am fond of is the celebration of Edgar Allan Poe’s short stories and poetry. Edgar Allan Poe is by far my favorite poet and I love all his writings.
