Hi! I have a BA and state certification in Early Childhood Education and Supervision in Student Teaching with 25 years experience. I prefer early childhood tutoring before they enter formal education. I enjoy working with young children, seeing them get excited when learning! I prefer one on one or small group instruction so that I can give young learners my full attention. All children learn differently and at different paces and I will accommodate your child according to their learning styles and capabilities. I will make learning interesting and fun for your child and regularly collaborate with parents concerning progress, plans and extension activities. I am currently teaching prekindergarten in a public school setting which includes non English speakers in my class (ESL). I am knowledgeable and current with state standards and practices concerning young children. My teachings are mainly hands on experiences, because children remember when they are actively engaged!
