First Grade Learning
About
I am a graduate of ULM 1990. I have been a Louisiana State Certified Teacher since 1992. I meet the standards of a Highly Qualified Teacher in Elementary Grades. I was voted “Teacher of the Year” at my school by my coworkers in 2010. I have experience teaching first through fourth grade. My preference is to tutor first graders, although I would consider tutoring kindergartens as well.
I tutored privately for 4 years after school and during summers. I have taught 28 years.
I enjoy helping students set and meet academic learning goals. It is a joy for me to see students build self-confidence as they improve.
