My speciality is helping elementary students to become higher achievers by giving them the reading, writing, and studying skills they need to become stronger and more confident learners. I will work closely with teachers /parents to come up with a plan to find out your child's individual goals and tailor them especially to meet his or her needs, starting at any level. Whether your child is deaf, hard of hearing, esl, just starting out, or just wants to make better grades...My motto is 'We' ve Got This!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I like to get to know his or her interests first. This helps me intergrate his or her interests in a lesson. It keeps the student engaged and open to learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
4.0 GPA in early childhood education, 20 years in the public school system working closely with subject teachers tutoring elementary students in all academic subjects. I work with all students, including, but not limited to students who are non verbal or just learning English, through total communications.
