About
I have been tutoring peers in English, Math, Science, and ACT/SAT since high school. During my undergraduate years at Rhodes College, I was a peer tutor in Biology and Organic Chemistry in which I worked one-on-one with students after taking the same courses myself. I enjoy working with a variety of ages from K-12. As I apply to medical school, I am working at a Children's Museum, where I have been exposed to informal childhood education and am involved in an early literacy program for 3-5 year olds. I strive to understand the strengths and challenges of each student I work with and cater my tutoring to the unique needs of each student. My goal is to make learning come alive and to facilitate independent thinking to cultivate both short-term and long-term learning.
