About
WE are a brain training company. We do one to one individualized cogntive training. We work with students from age 4-adult to train the brain in all areas of learning. We perform an initial assessment to determine how effective/ineffective the learning processes are in the brain and then we retrain the weak areas of the brain into strengths. All of our staff are dedicated to helping students reach their true potential through brain training. We have a combined teaching training experience of over 50 years!!! Each of our dedicated staff has degrees in various fields of study and we can help you achieve your desired learning experience.
We enjoy seeing the gains our students make and the success they achieve as their confidence grows in their abilities to learn anything.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We first conduct a cognitive assessment to see the strengths and weaknesses of the brain in the learning skills experiences. Then we conduct individualized one on one brain training sessions to strengthen the weak areas of the brain. We specialize in working with those who struggle with the learning experience but work with all ages.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Each trainer on my staff has a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with many at Master's level and beyond.
The center director has two Master's degrees in Education in Reading and Learning Specialities with 21 years of teaching experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Initial assessment is $299 but will be offered 1/2 price via this website and we will offer discounted sessions as well.
How did you get started teaching?
I taught for 21 years before opening the LearningRx center in LA 9 years ago in 2008.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with all ages/types of students from age 4-adult specializing in those with learning difficulties.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a tutor in your area of expertise?
it is important to know if you need a tutor to reteach content or a brain trainer to retrain the weak area of learning. If you keep having to hire tutor after tutor, year after year, brain training is the right venue for you.
What questions should students think through before talking to tutors about their needs?
Know what areas you are struggling with as in the learning process or just need reteaching of difficult material.
