Elementary School Tutor
About
I recently graduated from LSU with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education. At graduation, I was reconginized as a University Medalist for maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout my undergraduate career. By the end of May 2019, I will have my Master’s in Elementary Education, a Reading Specialist Certification, and an ESL/ELL Certification.
Previously, I have worked as a camp counselor at St. Andrew’s summer camp and Most Blessed Sacrament after school care. Mentoring children at a young age inspired me to pursue a career that will allow me to help them develop within the classroom. However, I understand that many students need additional assistance outside of school to reach their academic potential. For the 2019-2020 school year, I will be observing a second grade class at Magnolia Woods Elementary School. I hope to not only help students within the classroom this upcoming year but I also hope to help them outside of the classroom as well.
