About
I have been tutoring for almost a year now. I never thought I wanted to tutor, let alone be able to teach someone until my first client asked me if I would be willing to tutor them. It was weird for me at first, but I love helping others. I am not certified yet, but that does not mean I won't try my hardest to help my clients.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When first meeting I like to see what are the struggles and goals of the student. I want to make them feel comfortable and understand what type of learner the student is.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an honors college student at Southern University A & M College majoring in nursing. I graduated valedictorian of my class. I have taken Pre-Calculus, Algebra, and Algebra 2 and passed with As in all classes.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I may charge based on a session which is $30 a session, typically 1 hour. If the student would like to continue to book with me I would give them an estimate of the costs for the remaining sessions.
How did you get started teaching?
My first client asked me if I would be willing to tutor them and that was my first official client but I have been tutoring others throughout high school.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with high school students and elementary students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
An event I am fond of is the Christmas event with my family. Although COVID has limited the number of family members able to attend we still had fun watching Christmas movies, eating food, and drinking hot chocolate.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would tell them to make sure the tutor is qualified and in their price range.
