Hey! My name is Caitlin, but I mostly go by Cat. I am a 24 year old college student who has been tutoring in a variety of circumstances throughout my schooling and life. My mother is a reading specialist with a focus on early childhood education, and her passion for reading definitely rubbed off on me! I used to read the thesaurus for fun, and sometimes still do.

I read and speak english fluently, and I can hold a simple conversation in french. I know some ASL, but not nearly enough. Really, I can fingerspell and I know a few signs. I'm always learning though, it's probably my favorite hobby. I hope to become fluent, and after that, to learn a few more languages as well.

In elementary, I tutored younger students on days when I finished my classwork early. I took a break from tutoring in middle school, but still studied with friends. In high school, I tutored a number of friends who went on to get 26-34 on their ACTs, up from as low as a 14. I have since taught children and peers alike a variety of things, and am fairly flexible with hours and subjects. I hope to hear from you!

I really enjoy helping people of all ages learn, it can be really frustrating when you get stuck and don't have anyone to help you figure out something. It's really fulfilling to help people excel.
