About
Welcome! As an honors STEM student and experienced researcher, I am eager to share all I have learned through the years. I take a differentiated inquirey based learning approach to teach students in a highly engaging way while allowing flexibility for those with different needs.
I have been working with children since I could legally be employed. Whether coaching, instructing, or tutoring, I have accumulated approximately 6 years of experience effectively communicating with children aged 18 months - 17 years. I have also been teaching adults aged 18 - 65+ for a year and a half.
I am a twice-certified member of the NSLS honor society and the CItizens Science Research Organization, an honors program for high achieving STEM students. I have experience conducting research for the Louisiana Freshwater Sponge Program and for the Medicinal Plant Laboratory at Louisiana State University. Through these positions, I have also assisted highschool students in learning about conducting research and presented my findings at LSU's Discover Day and the 2022 Aspire Symposium.
I am excited to help other students learn the ropes for sucess in acedemia!
