About
My name is Benjamin Carey, a senior in high school, and I’ve been a fan of learning my whole life. I enjoy taking concepts in STEM, Social Sciences, and languages across the world. I am fascinated by the way the world works, and derive fulfillment by sharing the gifts of the universe to others. I am familiar with numerous methods of study, including the Montessori style of teaching. I have taught in a number of contexts, including being a camp counselor for a Camp Invention, a STEM-based inventor’s camp for children grades 1-6, and being a personal tutor of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I can work with a wide range of people, and can teach Math topics up to Calculus BC, Science topics up to college-level physics, biology, and chemistry, and Piano. I am open to feedback and adaptable to any desires parents might want of me.
