I am a nursing student at the University of Kentucky going into my junior year. My experience in UK’s nursing program has given me a thorough understanding of math and science and has allowed me to develop the tools and skills to tackle challenging coursework and complex topics. It has also given me incredibly strong organization and time management skills. In high school I successfully completed a variety of AP courses and particularly enjoyed Language and Composition. I have also completed several advanced writing and composition courses throughout my time in college. I am very direct and clear in my explanations, and am a big believer in building a strong understanding of each concept as well as its applications. I know that each student learns differently, and am able to accommodate a variety of learning and organization styles. My ultimate goal is for students to be confident and successful in their learning.
