I have been teaching ESL and Conversational English for over 15 years, as I have traveled the world.

I also teach Writing and Reading, Speech, Pronunciation, Grammar, Creative Writing, Poetry and Songwriting.

I taught Grade 1 through 12 in West Africa as well as English Literature. I moved on to teaching ESL with adult Russians and adults from other countries and Business English online. I also have taught children in China, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Bahrain.

I can customise our time together around your personal speaking and writing goals.

I am also a Singer/Songwriter, a self published Author on Amazon and a Poet.

I can also help with translation or the Writing of Songs, Creative Writing and Poetry.

I enjoy being able to help people to communicate. Being understood is essential. It helps people to get better jobs, meet new friends and to get along better with work colleagues. It is the essence of life!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I love to break the ice by learning about a person. I listen to them speak and then I begin to accommodate their needs in an easy and understandable way.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a native English speaker and studied English Literature and Creative Writing in University. I hold a TELF/TESOL Certificate for ESL, as well.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I charge $25 to $35 U.S. Dollars an hour depending on the work load. I like to keep my rates reasonable for people who might struggle financially. Learning should be accessible to all! Thank you!!! ❤️

How did you get started teaching?

I began teaching English as a world traveler!

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with students all over the world from Asia to Africa and Europe. I also teach students right here in the U.S.A.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I am always fond of any kindness from one person to another. We live in a world where we need this. Generosity and the act of giving or sharing is a wonderful characteristic and it makes the ones who give, so much more happy! Receiving is nice too!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

My advice would be to enjoy learning. When you have a passion to learn, nothing can stop you from getting better and it is easy!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Students should know what they are strong and weak in. A student would need to ask themself how much time, energy and discipline they are willing to put in to get good results.
