About
What makes me different than most tutors is that I am down to earth enough to have fun, but also professional enough to make sure that your needs are met as my client.
I enjoy watching students grow. I see myself in my students because many chemistry concepts did not come natural to my understanding at first. It took time to develop these skill and many hours studying and tutoring. I want the same for other students. There is a lot of work to be done in the science world, and as an educator it is my job to train the next generation.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student I find out what their learning style is by getting an understanding of how they retain information the best. Once that is determined, I make a specialized method of delivering the material that the student needs for success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my bacholors of science in the field of chemistry and I currently work as a research chemist during the day time. Being a recent college grad, most content is still fresh, and I still have all of my class lecture and lab materials from general, organic, physical, inorganic, quantitative, and more.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For elementary and middle school students: $15 per hour
For high school students: $25 per hour
For college students: $30 per hour
How did you get started teaching?
I stsrted tutoring and academic coaching in 2016 (my sophomore year of college).
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with ages from 4 to 47 years of age. I attended a historically black university which has many non traditional students. It's imperative to know how to relate to all groups of people in order to be successful in reaching all audiences.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who can relate to you as much as possible. If they are willing to develop a relationship where they can understand your learning type and continue to teach you in ways where you can understand best, it will be worth your time and financial support.
