I love languages and the English language because it is used so much in this country. To have learned it, and now able to teach it, is very exciting. I love love love poetry of all sorts and the entire process of formulating a product of words.
I have tutored at the Elementary and Middle school levels
as well as been an editor at the university level.
I have a minor from the University of Texas at Austin
in English/Rhetoric and Writing.
I specialize in creative writing, poetry and essay editing.
I enjoy helping clients find their voice and strength to put pen to paper or hands to keys and create something magical. Whether for a class, project, or personal goal, I enjoy guiding the process and making it a success!

How did you get started teaching?
I have a background in early childhood education.
I have always loved to teach since I was a young girl who, pretended to be a teacher to my friends and younger sister :)
What types of students have you worked with?
I have work with and tutored elementary age bilingual (Spanish/English) students in all subject areas including math, language, and science.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love love love concerts. If you are a fan of them, high five :D
I am looking forward to an Alanis Morissette concert in September!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Go with the Flow. Don't force anything. You'll find your tutor :)
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should think through or make a list of what their goals and aspirations or needs are. Know what they need, then talk to a teacher in the field they are wanting some assistance.
