Hello! I have certifications in elementary education, special education, and as a literacy specialist. My teaching focus is with students learning to read, struggling to read, and students with dyslexia. I love connecting with families and working together to meet educational goals! I have been teaching online for over 5 years. Before that, I taught in the classroom for over 12 years. I primarily use Barton Reading and Writing System and UFLI intervention curriculums. During our sessions, you can expect to see: interactive educational games, direct instruction, activities geared towards personal interests, and a multi-sensory approach. After each session, parents can expect a personalized email containing what was accomplished, observations, and activities to extend outside of session time.
