Hello! I'm a local tutor looking to find more students in the area! Right now I students who are working on reading proficiency in grades 1-5, and high school English student, and an elementary math student. I work on basic skills until proficient and then use those skills to teach higher level skills. Working with kids brings me so much joy and I feel happy being able to help them enjoy learning. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first tutoring session is usually spend going over skills the student already knows to determine what level they are at. Once a skill is found that we can target, the lesson continues just like a regular lesson would!
