Hi! I’m currently completing the last few credits for my biochemistry degree from the University of San Diego. I started professionally tutoring as an ACT/SAT test prep tutor when my college classes were moved online due to COVID. I have tutored kids as young as kindergarten in phonics and language basics to building foundational math skills, up to ACT/SAT test prep and AP high school calculus BC (equivalent to Calculus 2). I am proficient in Spanish (completed fluency component at USD, and graduated AP Spanish 5 in the Spanish National Honors Society), have published (by the American Chemistry Society) Biochemistry research along with multiple other related credentials. I also scored above a 30+ on the ACT with a perfect score of 36 in reading comprehension and writing. I have also worked with several children with various types of learning disabilities and/or differences: children on the autism spectrum, kids with speech/communication delays, dyslexia, and more.
