What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin by discussing the student's current standing with them. We identify specific, attainable goals and what is preventing them from achieving those goals. I also work through some work with the student to see what else I can see they are excelling on or struggling with to add into our plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have six years of tutoring experience and two years of experience as a college instructor. I also have a master's degree and bachelor's degree from well-respected programs in the areas that I tutor.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge $30 per hour for standard tutoring. For essay editing/consulting services, I charge $40 for essays five pages or under; after that, each additional page is $5.
