Biology Tutoring

About

I am currently a Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology student at KU, set to graduate in spring of 2024. I have experience tutoring students in honors biology, and I have taken several classes in subjects such as anatomy and physiology, chemistry, and medical terminology. I enjoy helping people reach their fullest potential, and I hope to be a part of your academic success!

As a tutor I've often found that I learn just as much from my students as they do from me. Also, the subjects I tutor in are my favorite subjects to learn about, and it's even more exciting to be able to share that with other students!

    Frequently asked questions

I like to focus on the student's goals, so I ask students to explain to me what they are hoping to achieve through tutoring and what they would like to accomplish during our time together. I also assess which areas students are performing well in and which areas they need the most help to best use our time together effectively.

As a current biology major I have had lots of exposure to basic and advanced concepts, both in the classroom setting and in clinical and lab settings.

    I charge $25 per lesson.

I began tutoring freshmen as a senior in high school, and would meet students during seminar, at home, and at a public library. I am flexible in regards to where we meet and I am willing to do online using applications such as Zoom.
