I have been teaching Spanish since 2006.
I enjoy helping students understand Spanish grammar--those lightbulb moments. I also enjoy conversing with students who are trying to become fluent.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In the first session, I would like to evaluate the student's abilities and go from there. I can conduct sessions either via Zoom or on Facetime.

BA in Spanish Education
MA in Intercultural Studies with many credit in graduate-level Spanish courses
Full-time Spanish teacher since 2006
Spanish 1, 2, 3, 4 and dual-credit (HS/college) Spanish

$20 per 30 minutes
$35 per hour
I accept payment via PayPal or Zelle.
How did you get started teaching?
I developed a love for the language and then spent time in Madrid, Spain at la Universidad de Nebrija.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Have specific questions/concepts in mind that you would like help with. The more questions you have, the more you will get out of your sessions.
