I am 25 year educator who is has a deep passion for helping students achieve their academic goals. I am a self-described history nerd who loves studying everything historical from ancient civilizations to current social and political structures. My positive demeanor and infectious zeal are my greatest strengths.

I attended The University of Dayton where I studied Political Science and Spanish. I recently finished my coursework for my Master's Degree in Education from the University of Notre Dame. While completing that degree I taught middle school social studies for 2 years in Brownsville, Texas, a border town. I have also taught ACT Prep Courses for former graduates of the middle school I taught at. Currently, I am a middle school teacher in Manhattan.

His concept of teaching is wonderful and even so he is sometimes strict he has helped me a lot throughout the years he taught us in GRMS. Even so he has left our small school we all still miss him. OH! Also one of his many good teacher attribute is his character, in other word he makes social studies interesting and fun (btw i never liked social studies but when he taught us he made us do foldables, gallery walks, games, and more, which made it fun. He is a great teacher and deserves to teach more people about how social studies really can be intresting and fun.

What I really liked about Mr.Madden was that he was a excellent teacher. I liked the way he made things interesting and fun. I also liked that when I had trouble with my work he would explain it until I understood it. I liked that he always took care of us when we were really stressed out for the exams, he would do meditation with us. Mr.Madden only wanted us to be ready for whats coming in our future, he would want the best for us. In my opinion he is the best English & Social Studies teacher in the world!
