About
Hello. My name is Kimberly Kalamaros. I have been in the field of education for 30 years. I have a passion for working with students who are learning more than one language. I was raised bilingual and speak spanish and english. I traveled abroad and lived in Madrid, Spain for one year and earned a spanish minor to my undergraduate degree. I also have a master's degree in elementary and bilingual education and have gotten an endorsement in both areas on my teacher license from Indiana. I would love the opportunity to work with your child and help them in all areas of instruction! I also enjoy working with adults. It is never too late to learn!
I really enjoy helping students achieve their goals and discovering the best path to take in order to improve their student learning! I love to help students find their strengths and what motivates them to learn more!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I assess what the student needs to improve their learning. Next, I locate what type of learner my student is and how they learn best. Then, I proceed to get to know my student and their goals. Finally, I do my very best to help my student achieve their goals!!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed a master's degree in elementary education and have over 20 years of teaching experience in elementary education. I am also certified by the state of Indiana and can teach K through 12th grade in bilingual education.
