Hello Dental Hygeine Major here!
I have been enrolled in AP science and medical classes since my freshmen year of highschool and have excelled in math and science!
I started as a chemistry major at IUPUI to apply to dental school, and am now pursuing a dental hygeine bachelors at IUSB
The courses I have taken through out my college career so far (I am currently a junior) have been very heavy in the math and science department, therefore I have plenty of experience and great resources!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First i like to hear a little bit about what they struggle with the most so i know where to start and how to help. Then we would work through a lot of samples and how to work through things in different scenarios. Next i like to go through some guided problems. After that I would challenge them to apply their knowledge to some practice problems on their own. However, every student is different and the process may have to be tweaked to fit their needs and understading of the concept.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been through many AP courses in high school and I have been taking rigorous scince course since I started college at IUPUI in the fall of 2017
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I start my pay for time at $15 an hour
How did you get started teaching?
I have tutored in my home town while in high school and I have wanted to continue that since I graduated.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with anywhere from ages 8-18
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I have made the Deans List at bith universities I attended and I have been invited into an honors society.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would tell them to work with someone they feel understands their needs and their style of learning. Someone could be a great tutir but if you dont click with their teaching style it may be difficult to learn.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should think about what methods work the best for them, what they have or have not tried while studying, or what they may want to ask for help in strengthening in their studies.
