I’m pretty new at tutoring professionally, it’s mostly just something I’ve done for younger kids or kids my own age who really struggle with math. I’m pretty patient I’m the oldest of 7 kids and I plan on majoring in mathematical education when I go to IU Bloomington. I hope to improve your general understanding of math through methods you’re most comfortable with and catering to your learning style.

I was a math teacher for 10 years. I have taught all subjects from 6th grade math to Algebra 2. I have valuable experience working with a variety of different level learners including individuals who struggle with math. I pride myself in being able to break concepts into simple easy to understand steps for each of my students. I am highly qualified as I did this for a profession and have 2 degrees in mathematics! I am now an analyst for a company.

I am a veteran teacher of Science, who also tutors Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Geometry. My science background is in Chemistry, ICP, and AP Environmental Science. I currently teach at the high school level and have taught from middle school to college levels in the past.

I have 10 years of experience working one-on-one with students in all elementary grades. I received my Bachelor’s in Education degree in 2008 with a 4.0 GPA. While I have skills in multiple subjects, Elementary Math and English are my strong points. They are the subjects that I believe I am the best at explaining and helping students understand and gain the knowledge that they need to build upon in succeeding grades. I am able to adapt my teaching skills to differing learning levels, paces, and styles.

I graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering. I was a Teacher’s Assistant for Calculus II as well as a TA for 2+ years of high school. I have always had a passion for teaching and working with students academically in a supportive, positive environment. My goal is to understand students needs and goals, and to create a plan that cater to the individual student. I really focus on achieving results, and love to have fun along the way!
