Mind Over Matter

I hold a Business Degree specializing in Healthcare Management, and I have a passion for numbers and health/science!

I taught for 2 years and found excitement in teaching the fun of numbers!

The rest of my career has been on the clinical side of healthcare and now the business/operational side. I also found joy in the accounting aspect of healthcare, working with numbers and problem solving.

I currently own my own small business where I provide excellent customer experiences, manage employees, and run all financials.

With tutoring, I develop strategies for better learning, address difficulties, assist in homework, evaluate progress, and provide encouragement to a student. I like to establish rapport and provide a student with a healthy and enjoyable learning environment. Parents will be able to measure the benefits of tutoring based on tangible results.

I have the ability to teach complex concepts in an easy to understand way (with some added humor when needed!).

I provide test taking strategies, study tools/plans, and exam prep.

Each student learns differently, and I would love to work with your student to figure out which learning style we can use to help them succeed!
