Tyler's Social Studies And History Tutoring
About
I am a current IUPUI student with a strong passion for history. I have experience working at world-class institutions including the Henry Ford Museum as a historical interpreter, the Toledo Zoo in education, and also self-research projects and video making about history. I feel that history and social studies are very important to culture and I feel that every kid can succeed, even if they need a little help! I'm currently working on my Social Studies in Secondary Education degree so I can teach social studies in a secondary school environment. I volunteer at Grace Church in Middle School Ministries (background checked). I'm willing to come to you, or meet at a library (including IUPUI's library)

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise a student that is looking to hire a history tutor to look for someone who loves history, who takes time out of their busy schedules to learn more about it, and who knows how to present history in a way that isn't boring and monotone.
