Meet Mrs. Tisby!

Hello, my name is Elkia Tisby, and I am thrilled to be working with you! I am a proud wife and mother of three wonderful children—a high school freshman, a sixth grader, and a fourth grader. With a background in the military and finance for 20 years, I bring discipline, structure, and a strong work ethic to everything I do.

For the past two years, I have been a substitute teacher in grades K-8, and I am currently completing my degree in early childhood education. My passion is mentoring and helping kids grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

I believe in encouraging students to do their best, building confidence, and developing lifelong skills.
