My tutoring service is unique because I offer high quality English-Language arts tutoring from a certified classroom teacher, for a fraction of the cost of most of my competitors.
I love working with pre-teen- teen students and have 3 years experience tutoring and teaching in this age group. I love the passion of young people and I espcially enjoy seeing someone who struggles with writing become a strong writer over time. Seeing that process play-out is one of my favorite parts of the job.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student I will go over their educational goals, ex.) What they'd like to get out of their education, what they'd like to get out of this subject, all the way down to what they would like to get out of this specific class.
I'll then look over whatever work my pupil has started and give them general advice on how to improve their writings. Then I will break down the essay sentence-by-sentece, explaining how to make their writing stronger. I also share with them strategies that have helped me throughout college and upper-level writing classes.
