About
I want to get to know my students and find out which learning technique works best for them. Throughout schools, standardized test have become a quick way to understand if students are comprehending the information, however each student does not fit into the same mold. Personally, I am a hands on learner so any lesson that involved props I comprehended better. I want to help students learn the material instead of just memorizing the answers.
Math and Psychology have been my two favorite subjects throughout my educational journey. I scored 650 points on the mathmatics portion of my SAT and graduated this May with my Bachelors of Arts Psychology degree from University of Southern Indiana
I have experience working with children. For 4 summers I was a volunteer camp counselor at Tales and Scales Summer Camp.

I have a passion for helping people be the best version of themselves. I enjoy having one on one time because often that is when their personality shines through. At the end of the day, I want to inspire others to not give up on school because they dont understand the material. Through practice and care we will figure out the information together.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First. I want to get to know a little bit about the student and what they are passionate about. Next, I want them to explain what aspect of the material is hendering their learning. Finally, I want to listen to their thought process on how to solve the problem and give advise along the way. I want them to understand that they are capable of solving problems with guidance. No child should feel like they are a problem because each child is different.
