What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will understand the students interest and goal first. I will discuss with them to make their own study plan. I will gradually to let them feel the study is a fun thing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have the PhD in chemical engineering and I am working as a technical specialist in an S&P 500 company.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The pricing varies with the subject and education level to teach. The junior tutoring is $30-35/h, high school tutoring is $35-45/h, and colleage is $50-60/h depends on the subjects.
How did you get started teaching?
I am happy to help those who is struggling in studying and see they become better one to achieve their goals.
What types of students have you worked with?
I worked with the students who doesn't like studying or haven't have a good method and feel frustrated in studying. I helped them to eran confidence and achieve their goals.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently am fond of learning computer programming to improve my work efficiently and life quality. I am happy to share my experience to my students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't look down yourself and you will learn it and become a better one.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do they want to improve or what is their goal? These questions helps me to have a alignment with their wishes and meet their requirements.
