How did you get started teaching?
When I was a freshmen in high school, I helped my older brother, who was a junior in high school, study for all major tests plus I helped him with all his homework.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have been tutoring since a sophmore in high school, helping all under classmen. My English AP teacher took us to libraries to help elementary students study for their READ test, the iLearn test, and Benchmark Assessment.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always look for the experience!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should ask, " What sets you apart from any other teacher?" or, "What can you teach me?"
